We carry out many piercings at our Real Piercing Studio in Burges Hill, UK. And it is always great to recieve feedback from our customers. Customer: Clarey Comments: I had my nose pierced a month or so ago and having looked at a LOT of info about piercing and piercers on the net, I went to Burgess Hill (UK) to BMG's piercing studio in the Real jewellery shop. It was quite a trek for me going by train to Sussex from Basingstoke, but on the basis that the best is the best, it seemed worth it. And it WAS. The piercing studio was clean and ultra-hygienic, Richard sterilised EVERYTHING as I watched and everyone was friendly and approachable....I've had tattoos before and some tattoo places can be frankly a bit scary, so I didn't know what to expect from a piercing place. BMG/Real was awesome though and Richard took time to help me choose exactly what I wanted and my nose stud was made-to-measure while I waited. After sterilising the diamond/platinum stud I'd chosen to have made, he did the piercing right away. That is such a cool service to offer because apparently piercings can go wrong if the jewellery is too tight and air doesn't circulate/skin gets pinched. I don't know of any other piercing studio that offers this service..... Did it hurt? Yep. Would I do it again? Yep. Did I have any problems? Yep....but a trip back to Richard has sorted it out. I developed a bit of scar tissue above the piercing. Not infected or anything, just a little fleshy lump which actually got alarmingly big at one point. Repeated (3x a day) soaking in warm/hot saltwater has sorted it out though and it's barely visible now. If you're reading this because you're thinking about having your nose done and you're searching the internet for information about nose piercing as I did before I had mine done, then be reassured - find a good, reliable piercer with really thorough hygiene control and an approachable manner (BMG/Real has to be hard to beat to be honest :D) and go and do it! I had my nose pierced a month or so ago and having looked at a LOT of info about piercing and piercers on the net, I went to Burgess Hill (UK) to BMG's piercing studio in the Real jewellery shop.

It was quite a trek for me going by train to Sussex from Basingstoke, but on the basis that the best is the best, it seemed worth it. And it WAS. The piercing studio was clean and ultra-hygienic, Richard sterilised EVERYTHING as I watched and everyone was friendly and approachable....I've had tattoos before and some tattoo places can be frankly a bit scary, so I didn't know what to expect from a piercing place. BMG/Real was awesome though and Richard took time to help me choose exactly what I wanted and my nose stud was made-to-measure while I waited. After sterilising the diamond/platinum stud I'd chosen to have made, he did the piercing right away.

That is such a cool service to offer because apparently piercings can go wrong if the jewellery is too tight and air doesn't circulate/skin gets pinched. I don't know of any other piercing studio that offers this service.....

Did it hurt? Yep. Would I do it again? Yep. Did I have any problems? Yep....but a trip back to Richard has sorted it out. I developed a bit of scar tissue above the piercing. Not infected or anything, just a little fleshy lump which actually got alarmingly big at one point. Repeated (3x a day) soaking in warm/hot saltwater has sorted it out though and it's barely visible now.

If you're reading this because you're thinking about having your nose done and you're searching the internet for information about nose piercing as I did before I had mine done, then be reassured - find a good, reliable piercer with really thorough hygiene control and an approachable manner (BMG/Real has to be hard to beat to be honest :D) and go and do it! It isn't as painful as you're worried it will be - honest!
