Amour - this beautiful pear shaped amethyst is chess cut making the stone sparkle with movement. This is the method of cutting and polishing the gemstone surface with offset squares tables to create this magnificent effect. The beautiful amethyst is then set into a cuddle of gold which wraps right around the back of the stone. The shaft is 1.6 gauge (USA 14 ga) and can be prepared to any shaft length.
The piece is hand made with either 14-ct nickel free yellow or palladium white gold - approx 2.5 grammes. Please note BMG white gold is un-plated and specially prepared for implantation purpose. The piece carries the BMG hallmark and the London assay legal markings.
