Welcome to the custom made section of our website
As jewellers, piercers and designers with over 30 years of combined experience we consider ourselves the only place with the knowledge and know how to produce fine quality gold, white gold or platinum custom made body jewellery.
Browsing our galleries you will see many of the pieces we have made and delivered to our delighted customers all around the world. So if you are in the USA, Australia or just down the road, talk to us by telephone or email. You will be amazed at how quickly we can turn your idea into reality and make it work for you.
An insight into how we think…….
What normally happens is:
1)
I pick up your email and consider the piece.
2) Mail back my interpretation of what you are after with some idea of the
cost involved. Each and every person has different expectations and not everything
is feasible so I may make some suggestions.
3) Once we are talking the same language, and getting to know each other we
can move onto the next stage. Gemma will take my interpretation and mock up
a computer image for you to see. We may need pictures of the piercing if possible,
to see how your current jewellery sits and the angle of the anatomy etc, as
all these factors need to be considered.
4) Once we have the design worked out and agreed a schedule we will take 50%
of the final agreed amount.
5) Norman will start the work using his vast experience of goldsmithing and
diamond setting. Slowly your unique piece will start to take shape. Quite
often we will take pictures of it being made and get them through to you.
6) Once finished, the piece will require hallmarking, this generally takes
2/3 days and is done with our BMG hallmark and the legal marks required by
the London Assay office.
7) The remaining 50% won’t be payable until you have seen the final
pictures of the finished piece and it is ready for despatch.
The BMG team is based in Burgess Hill, South Coast, United Kingdom. It comprises
myself Richard Soper Managing Director, Jeweller and piercer. I will do the
preliminary consultation and communication and work closely with our designer,
Gemma Easton who will continue the development utilising computer aided design
to put the ideas on screen. Norman Williams and Adam Bateup are our goldsmiths
and diamond setters, and will be responsible for all of the physical work.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best
regards Richard Soper
